摘要：European financial market integration is an unfolding process and an economic fact that affect not only
the countries involved but the whole world economy. The success of this process depends on many factors,
various challenges and obstacles that have to be over fulfilled but the evolutions demonstrate that
significant steps have been made. The paper don‟t propose a historical approach of the European capital
market integration, it is a succinct presentation of the degree that this process has been achieved until now,
taking into account the increasing role of the euro on the international financial markets. The evolution of
the integration process is analysed on the significant segments of the capital market: bond market -
government and corporate bonds - and equity market.
