Uterine myomas are the commonest
benign tumours in women and the most
common indication for removal of the uterus.1
The recurrence rate of fibroids after
removal or after a previous surgery varies
between 25-62% by the end of five years follow
up. Nearly 10-20% patients need a second
surgery within 1 to 10 years.2,3 Hence we have
undertaken this study to know the outcome
after recurrence has occurred.
