  • 摘要:As the method we use to measure the effectiveness of educational institutions changes to focus more on learning outcomes rather than learning processes, teaching styles may need to adapt to facilitate this approach to evaluation. This paper proposes several strategies to build a more student-focused classroom including the “servant-professor” model, techniques to measure student-learning outcomes, and active learning. The application of these strategies in the classroom may be one way to place more focus on the needs of the student, thereby generating stronger learning outcomes. The learning systems and technology provided by textbook publishers and instructional designers to facilitate the development of a student-focused classroom are also discussed.
