摘要：This paper presents the analysis of some experiments on processing and communication times among machines that simulate an electronic commerce system and employing a biometric device. The object of this work is measure the impact of using security technologies in electronic commerce and in biometric systems. The results of the experiments allow asserting the impact the usage of these technologies is not elevate, considering the experiments conditions.
