The initial boundary value problem for an integro-di®erential Kirch-
ho® equation is considered in the case of a square domain. To ¯nd an approx-
imate solution, step-by-step discretization is performed with respect to spatial
variables and a time argument. The obtained cubic system is solved by the
iteration method. The method error is estimated.
