摘要:In 2008, remarkably thickened wounds on one-yearold
shoots of Poplar were found in two areas of short
rotation plantations for energy wood. The wounds
have curled the shoots completely or partly, but did
not cause death. They are suspected of being infested
by Cimbicid sawflies, but so far no positive proof has
been found. The family Cimbicidae, being rather similar
in biology, and the two potentially damaging species
are described and marked off against other possible
damaging factors.
