标题：ZİHİNSEL ENGELLİ ÇOCUĞU OLAN ANNE-BABALARIN ÇOCUKLARININ ÖZEL EĞİTİMLERİ SÜRECİNDE BEDEN EĞİTİMİ VE SPOR ETKİNLİKLERİNE YAKLAŞIMLARININ DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

摘要：Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, zihinsel engelli çocuğa sahip olan anne-babaların çocuklarının özel eğitim sürecinde, beden eğitimi ve spor etkinliklerinin, sosyal, psikolojik, fiziksel, zihinsel ve hareket gelişimlerine etkisine yönelik bilinç düzeylerini belirlemek ve bu amaç doğrultusunda ülkemizde zihinsel engelli çocukların anne-babalarına aile eğitimi ve rehberlik hizmeti sunan kurumlara araştırma sonucu elde edilen veriler üzerinde düşünme, tartışma, program geliştirme ve yeni araştırmalar yapma imkanı sağlamaktır. Veri toplama aracı araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiş ve geçerlilik - güvenirliği önceden test edilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı Ankara ilinin Çankaya, Etimesgut (Eryaman), Keçiören, Sincan, Yenimahalle ilçelerinde özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezlerinde özel eğitim alan zihinsel engelli çocukların anne-babalarına uygulanmıştır. Araştırmaya gönüllü olarak 54 anne, 27 baba katılmıştır. Araştırmada anne-babaların çocuklarının özel eğitime başlamasında doktor tavsiyesinin birinci derecede yer aldığı görülmüştür.Anne-babalar, beden eğitimi ve sporun çocuklarının tüm gelişim yönlerine etkisi konusunda genellikle olumlu görüş belirtmişlerdir. Anne-babalar, çocuklarının özel eğitim sürecinde beden eğitimi ve spor aktivitelerinin olması konusunda olumlu görüş belirtirken, en çok yapılması istenen spor branşı yüzme olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

EVALUATING THE CONSCIOUS LEVELS OF PARENTS ON THE EFFECTS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORT ACTIVITIES ON THEIR HANDICAPPED CHILDREN DURING SPECIAL EDUCATION
ABSTRACT The main purpose of this study was to determine the conscious levels of parents on the effects of physical education and sport activities on social, psychological, physical, mental and movement development of their handicapped children during special education period so that findings of this study could help institutions giving education and counseling to parents with handicapped children think, discuss, program development and conduct new studies in Turkey. Data gathering instrument was developed by the researcher, and its validity and reliability were tested before the study. The instrument was applied to parents (fathers and mothers) having handicapped children at Çankaya, Etimesgut (Eryaman), Keçiören, Sincan and Yenimahalle Special Education and Rehabilitation Centers in Ankara. 54 mothers and 27 fathers were participated the study voluntarily.Findings showed that doctor recommendation was the first factor on private education school-starting of handicapped. Fathers and mothers stated a positive opinion about the help of physical education and sport activities on the whole development of their handicapped children. In addition, parents emphasized the necessity of physical education and sports activities during special education period of their handicapped children, and also they have preferred swimming as the most wanted sport activity.
