摘要：This article analyzes the influence of the state investments in the economic development of the municipal districts paranaenses. It was used data regarding the investments accomplished by the State (Union and State) in the period from 1986 to 2004 and on the degree of development of the municipal districts in the year of 2004. The association between development and state inversions was delineated through a model of quadratic regression, in the which was verified that the increase in the investments of the State elevates the development degree of their municipal districts to you rate decreasing. This way, the action of the State in the development of the municipal districts paranaenses is relevant, with a larger efficiency of their inversions in the beginning of the process; in the measure in that the State intensifies their investments, and it grows up an internal dynamism that drives the economic development by itself.
