摘要:The aim of this article is to provide a report for the In-service Teacher Education Programme in Mathematics for 1st and 2nd Cycles of Basic Education Teachers, implemented by Escola Superior de Educação de Santarém in the district of Santarém, between the school years of 2005/2006 and 2008/2009. The purposes and objectives of this programme will be presented as well as the PFCM implementation by focusing on the work developed, by team trainers, the trainees and trainer in different types of training sessions. Finally, there will be references to the contribution of this programme to teachers’ professional development and to the evaluation based on a portfolio.
