摘要：The purpose of this study was to determine the relation between respiratory functions and some anthropometric characteristics of young elite wrestlers and underline which anthropometric parameters are effective on respiratory functions of young wrestlers in Turkish National Wrestling Team.For the study, physical and anthropometric year, height, body weight, body mass index, diameter and circumference were used. Furthermore, MVV, VC, FVC, FEV1, FEV1 % FVC were used as respiratory function measurements.The study group was composed of 66 young wrestlers in Turkish National Wrestling Team. Their average age was 19.53±1.60 years, average height was 1.73±0.69 cm, average weight was 76.77±14.71 kg. The data were collected from the measurement. The relationships between physical (height, body weight, BMI), anthropometric measurements (chest depth, chest circumference, chest wideness) and respiratory function measurements (MVV, VC, FVC, FEV1, FEV1 % FVC) were analyzed through correlation and regression.
