摘要:In this study, we attempted to analyse the influence of organizational culture and climate on job satisfaction of employees. This is very important for organizational performance, as it has an impact on the fulfillment of human assets and productivity. The study was conducted with 100 human assets of a Private Hospital. Data were collected using an instrument consisting of two scales: the questionnaire FOCUS (First Organizational Culture Unified Search) (Neves, 2000) and Professional Satisfaction Scale described by Lima, Vala and Monteiro (1994). We also recorded demographic and professional categorizers of respondents. The results suggest that the culture of the organization studied is viewed primarily as a culture of rules. We found a systematic and positive association between the intensity of the perceptions of different political culture and the various levels of satisfaction analyzed. Indeed, the perception of organizational culture explains nearly 32% of the variability in overall satisfaction, significantly more than the contribution brought by the socio-professional (18%) and the variables of socio-demographic characteristics of respondents (2%). Overall, these results demonstrated the existence of influence of organizational culture on job satisfaction.
