摘要:In this research, the teachers’ opinions on problems faced while teaching children to
read and write are identified with quantitative and qualitative data. According to the results of the
study, most of the teachers are in consensus on common problems. Teachers think that the
analysis method starting with the sentence is the best method to teach reading and writing, but they
also think that there are problems in the education of the teachers who will apply this method and
on-the-job training is inadequate. They believe in the necessity of teacher-parent co-operation to
achieve the desired success, but they also suggest that the parents be educated as well in order to
avoid the child’s conflicts between parents and the teacher.
