摘要：This paper aimed to address conceptual nature of the concept of competence as well as bringing into the discussion of interpersonal competence as a factor for nursing care. The concept of competence was coupled to a web of meanings and interpersonal competence was defined as an ability to deal effectively with interpersonal relationships. Stresses that this competence encompasses several facets essential to the provision of nursing care which is relational, and portrays the benefits of its application
