摘要：This work makes a spatial analysis of crime in the Corede Production region. For this goal, municipal aggregated data of homicides, body injuries, robberies and thefts are used in the period between 1997 and 2005. The analysis is made on the light of the economy theory of crime, the ecological approach and the social learning contributions. In the model, the criminality in cities can be explained by local characteristics, the local environment, the neighborhood and the individual’s history. To test the hypothesis, it is used an econometrical model with panel data. The factors income and urban agglomerations are the most important factors of criminality in cities of Corede Production.
