摘要:ABSTRACT. The aim of this study is to determine the role of the dimensions of social skill and life
satisfaction in predicting participation in bullying and victimization. The sample consisted of 935 participants
(440 girls and 495 boys) recruited from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Bullying Scale (Kutlu, 2005), Matson Evaluation
of Social Skills with Youngstres (Matson, Rotatory & Hessel, 1983), and The Multidimentional Students’ Life
Satisfaction Scale (Huebner, 1994) were used as data collection tools. Results of regression analysis showed that
students’ bullying levels were predicted significantly by the negative social behaviors, perceived satisfaction
from environment and school. Students’ victimization levels were predicted significantly by perceived
satisfaction from friends, negative social behaviors, perceived satisfaction from environment and school.
