摘要：Plato is the founder of a form of metaphysics, which has had great success in the Western World. Having given the historic and philosophic «Sitz im Leben» together with a brief consideration of some hermeneutical problems, the article presents the gnoseological and anthropological framework of the «theory of ideas». The body of the article examines the dialectics, and then it looks at the complex «unwritten doctrines» and platonic theology. An evaluation of Plato’s place in the history of metaphysics ends the article
