摘要:In a previous article I have argued that A. Millán-Puelles’ work, The Theory of the Pure Object , adopts a method of “phenomenological-ontological analysis”, and that this approach is feasible. This article argues that such a method is in line with metaphysics and with man, who is an animal metaphysicum and an “animal of unrealities”. The twofold demand of, on the one hand, going beyond phenomenology to a metaphysical analysis, while, on the other, retaining in metaphysical analysis the findings of phenomenology, is possible by maintaining in metaphysics an onto-logical dialectic between being and being-known. We can call this approach “analectic”: the progressive intellectual ascent through a series of opposing correlatives, that are resolved in the positive pole.
