摘要：This year, on September 30th, Germain Grisez will be 75 years old. This article is a tribute to him and to his work. As a lay person, husband and father of four children, with a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Chicago and twenty years of teaching experience, he became a defender “ante litteram” of the doctrine of “Humanae Vitae”. During the last thirty years he has dedicated himself to the renewal of moral theology, while teaching at Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary and Mount Saint Mary’s College in Eemmitsburg, Maryland. His enormous contribution to moral theology –especially the three volumes of his work, “The Way of the Lord Jesus”, with a fourth volume in process– may be considered the most profound, complete and original exposition of moral theology since the Second Vatican Council.
