摘要：The article intends to reflect on Plato’s Gorgias in order to show how in this dia-logue a theory of communication is presented, in which the binomial: knowledge-ignorance occupies an important place. The discussions occurring between Socrates, Gorgias, Polus and Callicles lead us to highlight the importance of knowledge in order to elaborate a scien-tific rhetoric that overrides the limits of sophist rhetoric
