摘要:This paper concerns the study of several Roman ceramics found during the
renewal of the sewage net system in the southeast top of the hill (Alto de São Miguel) of the
town of Alcácer do Sal, in 2007 and 2008. Samian ware (terra sigillata), with origin in Italy,
Gaul and in Hispania (the so called “sigillata precoce” or “Tipo Peñaflor” produced in the
kilns of La Viña, Sevilla, Andalucia), were studied, as well as other ceramics that belong to the
period between Late Republic and the middle of the 2nd century AD
