摘要:Wills can be used as tools that reveal the strategies deponed by chieftains of New Spain to perpetuate their position of privilege. The present article analyzes the wills of three chieftains, members of Moctezuma and Cruz families, chieftains of the town of Tepexi de la Seda, Puebla (New Spain). One purpose sought: describe three wills that talk about the chieftains of Tepexi de la Seda and their descendant at the end of colonial period.
