摘要：Nowadays, the protection of the archeological heritage is one of the inherent tasks of a civilized Nation. The facts explained and analized hereby date back to the first steps taken by Spain made in this respect. Although, as the article demostrates, the real value of the archeological objects sometimes had nothing to do with the protection of national heritage, but served political interests of the protagonists involved in this process.
