摘要:The purpose of this study is to investigate effect of secondary school mathematics teachers’ preparation program on the pre-service teachers’ self-efficacy. In this sense, self-efficacy beliefs towards mathematics scale developed by Umay (2001) were administered to 108 freshmen, junior and senior pre-service teachers enrolled in secondary school mathematics teachers’ education program at Karadeniz Technical University. Result revealed that junior pre-service teachers taking only mathematical content knowledge have higher self-efficacy beliefs than freshmen and senior pre-service teachers. Moreover, there is no significant difference between freshmen pre-service mathematics teachers’ self-efficacy beliefs and senior pre-service mathematics’ self-efficacy beliefs.
