摘要:High school teachers in life sciences in their teaching activity need both updated training and the availability of scientific materials to involve their students in engaging and appealing activities. The “Bioteach: tools and tips for science teachers” project was born to reply to these needs: this is a project aimed at the dissemination of scientific culture and able to connect Italian and foreign teachers’ and researchers’ skills and experiences thanks to the use of information technologies. The aim of this article is to describe the educational distinctive features of the project, pointing out both strength and weakness and to suggest possible future developments based on Web 2.0 methodologies and technologies
