摘要:This new early neolithic site is located very near the left margin of Sorraia
River, an important affluent of the Tagus River. This is a region sequential of the mesolithic
“concheiros” of Muge and Paúl de Magos and a natural path to inlands of middle Alentejo.
The artefacts found in the superficial area of this big site (1000 x 300 m, 30 ha) are mostly
lithics (nuclei, bladelets, flakes, awls, flint debris...) and ceramics (cardial impressed and incised
ware and hybrid) all of them from contexts of the end of 6th millenium and first centuries of
the 5th BCE. Very few materials represent the 3rd millenium BCE, namely two late beaker
