摘要：the author studies a roman capital found at the old public baths at Termas
Cassianas in the town of Olisipo. the exemplar analysed although its little dimensions and its
late decorative composition allows the author to present some thoughts relating the roman
decorative styles in the old roman city of lisbon. regarding the ateliers which produced this
type of architectonic elements, important conclusions can be obtained, although the author
reckons that their role is so little studied and so often forgotten.
