摘要：The studies of contrastive linguistics between Italian and Spanish have been
considerably growing lately. Nevertheless, a lot of areas must be still analyzed.
For example, the field of phraseology has begun to be studied only in the latest
years due to the well-known affinity between both languages.
Therefore, we present in this paper our contribution on this aspect. We
will attempt to draw the correct use of Italian collocations of the term of color
‘white’. We will also include a proposal of translation of each Italian example
into Spanish. This paper must be considered a beginning point since our aim is
to continue our research on the semantic ground of the collocations related to
other color terms, as it is a field that has not yet been studied thoroughly.
