摘要：CHARACTERIZATION OF FIRST GENERATION STUDENTS IN HIGHER EDUCATION. NEW PATHS TO EQUITY IN EDUCATIONThis work addresses the phenomenon of ‘first generation’ young students by comparing their paths in order to identify factors making that phenomenon possible and its consequences on students.Data used in this research were obtained by monitoring several students from their second year in high school in 2003 through 2009. It also includes information coming from Ministry of Education’s administrative data.
