摘要:This article presents the results of a survey conducted in the third year of two
State High Schools: Presidente Vargas and Menodora Fialho de Figueiredo
in Dourados, MS. The students participated in a filmed interview on issues
related to reading and literature. The objective was to verify the reading
practices of the students, so that we can find out what the “required” reading
is that the teachers select for this subject, and especially whether the students
are finishing school as readers or non-readers. We concluded that students
do have an interest in reading, but different readings from those which the
school requires. Thus, this article deals with the development of readers in
terms of student "talk”.
