摘要：Despite societies’ increasing interest in audiovisual media, and its relevance in science, not only documentary sources of information, but also personal ones reveal that anthropologists rarely use these media resources in their professional tasks. Hence, this research is intended to explore the knowledge, experiences, and opinions of a group of local anthropologists, concerning whether or not they use media sources and films as raw material either for their research, teaching classes or anthropological outreach in Venezuela. The results of this investigation bring us close to the anthropologists’ viewpoint regarding facts which enable the relationship among audiovisual technical properties, and the tutorial-methodological Anthropology framework; including, its future perspectives, such as, photographic, cinematographic and, video graphic resource application in research and Social Science publications.
