摘要:The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between adolescents’ motivation to class engagement and their subjective well-being as well as strategies that improve subjective well-being. The study group included a total of 233 high school students [112 female (48.1 %) and 121 male (51.9 %)] aged from 14-17. Motivation to Class Engagement Scale; Adolescent Subjective Well-being Scale; Subjective Well-being Increasing Strategies Scale, Satisfaction with Life Scale, and Positive and Negative Affect Scale were used as measurement instruments. Data analyzed with descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The following variables were significantly related to course engagement in the regression equations respectively: Positive response to environment strategy, getting positive response from the environment, and subjective well-being.
