摘要：It is known that, sport promotes to increase mood of psychological well-being of the physically handicapped as well as a normal person. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the relation between sense of self confidence and level of life satisfaction of the physically handicapped athletes. The subjects of the research are 66 athletes attending 1st Physically Handicapped Badminton Turkey Championship. In the research, Marsh and colleagues (1994) developed “Marsh Physical Self Description Questionnaire” (PSDQ) with “Self Confidence” subscale is used to find out sense of self confidence and Deiner, Emmons&Larsen (1985) developed “ The Satisfaction with Life Scale” is used to measure level of satisfaction level. For the interpretation of data research, descriptive statistics, Pearson Correlation multiple and t-test were used. Error performance in the research is 0.05.Finally, it is stated that sense of self confidence effected the level of the life satisfaction of the physically handicapped athletes.
