The promotion of the education of science and technology and the development of creative talents have currently been advocated with the strongest emphasis ever known, in order to meet requirements from industries which are vitally in need of the raise of productivity. In accordance with the trend, a two-years research project was conducted. Twenty members from various universities and institutions participated in the project. The problems were formulated into five topics; namely, (1)relation between productivity and creativity, in historical and social perspectives, (2)experimental study of creative thinking, (3)identification of creative talents by means of creativity tests, (4)training methods of creativity, such as brain-storming, discovery learning and etc., and(5)conditions which favor creative activities in industries.
