摘要:This article presents the study carried out on the conservation of one type
of contemporary work, the hybrids, which poses new and complex challenges to
the discipline of conservation and restoration of contemporary art. Starting with
the analysis of the evolution of photography throughout the 20th century, its existing
relation with the tridimensional object is established. A study is carried out of this
symbiosis which must be based on the knowledge of the semantic that is implicit in
these new manifestations with regard to the artistic intention. This factor becomes
fundamental in the decision for conservation. Hence, an objective was established to
determine at what moment in time photography became a complex object, related to
new materials and conquering the tridimensional, and converts into a hybrid of various
artistic categories. Likewise, a study has been made of the idea, subject matter that
comprises these artworks, their possible future behaviour and the diverging factors
that may determine their conservation.
