摘要：This article deals with the relationship between the Russian Orthodox religion and Russian national identity in the post-Soviet period. After an introductory historical outline, it addresses a number of questions relating to the issue of religious pluralism. It is argued that the "symbolic capital" of Russian Orthodoxy is incorporated in the "formulas of identity" in a number of different ways depending on their respective social and cultural carrier groups as well as on the "model of nation" to which they refer: civic, ethnic or imperial.
