摘要：This article summarizes development of large-scale sports events and analyzes positive and negative influences of large-scale sports events on regional economic development. On that basis, the author further proposes such conclusion and suggestions to change the concept and bidding actively for holding the Olympic Games to promote innovation through competition, be established in the future and build up long term effect, etc.
