The popular contexts Communities seek out the historical invisibility adapting their cultures spontaneously or intentionally by hegemonic mass culture. From this statement, the objective of this study is to analyze the process of cultural conversion, experienced by the Black Community Rural Quilombola (CNRQ) of Piglet / Umbuzeiro along its path in the process of hybridization with the hegemonic mas culture. The research focuses onunderstanding the cultural reconversion that the Maroon population carries in his workand his life in the face of public policy proposals for the construction of development within the Community.
