摘要：The current project aims to verify how and which linguistic competences and abilities are often required in the Portuguese language exams of the selective processes of Universidade Federal de Goiás and of the Fundação para o “Vestibular” (FUVEST). The objective is to point out the most approached linguistic knowledge/subjects in those selective processes and that, this way, may be relevant to the Portuguese language teaching in preparatory high school. This research is the embry of a project that intends to distinguish contents and methods of evaluation that favor the constitution of an adequate profile to students who are being admitted in the Brazilian higher education.
