摘要：This paper presents an example of evaluation in Portuguese language for candidate in higher education designed according to the notion of teaching via genres. The goal is to show the application of a theoretical approach to the teaching of language suggested by official documents that set out the educational parameters in Brazil and whose implementation is still restricted. The data comes from evidence in the proceeding vestibular in Federal University of Goias, which evaluates linguistic knowledge, reading and text production.
