摘要：Ontologies formalize knowledge from different domains. It is a common
technique to align ontologies using mappings to common or reference ontologies to
produce a federated ontology network.
Federated knowledge means sharing and as knowledge is the most valuable property,
sharing it also raises the question of the ability to introduce some constraints on its
usage.
Some ontology languages have built-in mechanisms to integrate knowledge from other
ontologies by means of the World Wide Web and thus leverage on the security
mechanisms that can be setup in the network. However some recent research and
development activities reveal the opportunity of more fine-grained modularity of the
managed ontology knowledge and thus present different challenges to the security
aspect of the knowledge sharing.
This paper explores the new dimension of security management techniques in the
perspective of knowledge sharing and presents a proposed approach in the context of a
concrete case study.
