  • 摘要:With a focus on active and cooperative learning and skills training, this paper measures aspects of student engagement in a cross-sectional research study. Evaluations of the university by business school alumni and current students are associated with their assessment of active and cooperative learning techniques and acquired skills. The research finds that such learning and skills are more valued by alumni than current students. Alumni who participated in a higher number of cooperative learning projects are more likely to view the related skills as important. Moreover, alumni views of degree pride and the quality of their education are connected with their views on active learning and skill quality. The findings support the work of others which suggests that these techniques may improve student success.
