摘要：Between the year of 1831 to 1842, the social and politic elite of south of Minas engaged itself in the fight for the institutionalization and stabilization of the Brazilian National State, at the time in its constitutional phase, in the side of the Moderated Liberals that was trying to brake the "revolutionary car", and hinder the restoraters triumph. The construction of the social and politic order has become itself the main goal of the leading national politic groups. In engaging itself in this fight, the south-miner elite firmed its politic identity. Process which can be analyzed from varied documentation produced by institutions and local subjects.
