摘要：Sexual violence against children with disabilities is a global issue affecting every country of the world. New research
suggests that the severity and impact of abuse is extremely high with lasting consequences both for children
and for the development and well-being of the societies in which they live. This article outlines why children with
disabilities are especially vulnerable and what needs to change to ensure these children are better protected.
