摘要:According to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, “disability is an evolving concept and
results from the interaction between persons with impairments and attitudinal and environmental barriers that
hinders their full effective participation in society on an equal basis with the others”. In the disability studies, therefore,
it becomes of fundamental importance to ask oneself how the cultural map of interpretation of the phenomenon
gets its shape. The goal is to let emerge the experience of suffering or discrimination that people with disability
live with their everyday life while interacting with the social order of reference. This inevitably implies matters
of political, social and cultural nature
