摘要:Rhetoric is fundamental for identity definition because many processes related to construction of a self image take place in the context of rhetoric situations. This paper argues that rhetorical studies and theory help researches of journalistic identity. Discourse is the main tool of trade for journalists as well as it is the instrument they use to make themselves visible to society. Therefore, this article also deals with journalistic rhetoric practices and tries to understand how they contribute to build a social identity for the journalists.
