摘要：Historical-Cultural Variability and Value Cognition — In my paper I demonstrate theoretical problems that comprise the more general question concerning the relationship between cultural-historical variability and value cognition. My aim is to offer a detailed analysis of this problem. I raise the question for the reasons motivating the belief that globalization will contribute at last the emergence of a tolerant culture that accepts axiological diversity. I indicate three such reasons: the specificity of the contemporary universalism, the specificity of human answers to the challenges of natural and political crises and catastrophes, and finally, the specificity of the philosophy of culture interpreted as a practical reflection.
