摘要:This work tackles the formation of absolutist and liberal leading groups in Lleida in the last quarter of a century XVIII and first third of 19th century. Following the main political facts about this period, we draw the progressive confrontation of both groups in the community. Likewise, we reflect a different socio-professional appointment as it was their political filiations. This way, we confirm that the absolutist rows were fed on the families with more social influence (small local nobility, remarkable honest citizens and doctors) and farmers; whereas the liberals concentrated the friendliness of the craftsmen, landowners without privilege, liberal and intellectual professionals.
