摘要:A method to automatically segment the coronary arteries from 3D Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) is presented. The method consists of the segmentation of the hyperintense blood pools, the extraction of the heart’s contour using snakes and finally the application of a tube-detection filter to extract the vessels. Both the heart contour extraction algorithm as well as the tube detection filter take advantage of the properties of the distance transform.
