This article is about the way of being of teenagers who attend socio-educational program and are deprived of individual liberty. Initially, it will be analyzed the process of subjectivation of the teenager who commits infracional act in a situation of incarceration, designing the context of the institution that shelter them. We’ll describe the institutional routine through the movement of its speeches and problematize the participation of teenagers in the activities proposed (imposed) by the institution. This requirement indicates the construction of a subjective position. With the emphasis on the word as a possible reinterpretation of the act, we will present the experience of a thematic group held within the institution. Such activity considered an alternative mechanism in an institution, whose main characteristic is the objectification of the subject, made the circulation of the word possible without the institutional requirements so present.
