This paper aims to present the analysis, in the perspective of the Social Representations' Theory, of the discussion forum held with teachers from public and private Brazilian schools of Basic Education, as part of a course of continuing education distance from the program international cooperation between Higher Education's institutions in Europe and Latin America ALFA-MIFORCAL (2005-2009). We analyzed the discursive interactions between teachers through virtual learning's forums of the discipline Adolescent Psychology, referring to the theme: The adolescent and virtual learning spaces. The analysis was based on the construction of a semantic network, with the support of the software ATLAS.ti, which identified technology as an object of social representation and inferences about the profile of adolescents, the role of teachers and relations of teaching and learning in the contemporary context
